Christopher Dwayne Scott

Christopher Dwayne Scott, 40, of Hurley, passed away May 4, 2023. He was born September 15, 1982, to Belynda Scott and James (Jim) Hall in Springfield.

Chris was preceded in death by his “Mom and Dad”, Wayne and Lois Scott, uncle Gary Scott, niece Jayce Goans, only first cousin Vincent Scott, father, Jim Hall, several grandparents, and his childhood best friend Jared Cypret.

Chris is survived by daughters, Breanna and Samantha Scott of the home; mother, Belynda Scott, Hurley; sisters, Crystal Perryman, Springfield, Angel Vaughn, Cassville, Susan Stockton, Pierce City; brothers, Bradley Scott, Clever, and Michael Hall, Pierce City; stepmother, Faye Hall, Pierce city; special in-laws, Ted and Tonua Keithley, Clever; nieces, Tori Bishop, Trinity Johnson, Mackinzi and Ashlynn James; nephew Jordan Goans; special second cousin, Ryan Kimberling; along with countless other friends and extended family.

Chris was an auto mechanic and could fix any vehicle. Most recently he drove a tow truck for Hooten’s Towing. He attended school in Clever and Hurley.

Chris loved his girls more than anything in this world. The sun rose and set with them. He always told everyone everywhere he went how proud he was of them and how much he loved them. Chris was an a**hole, but he was ours. He would be there at any time for anyone who needed him, day or night.

The family will receive friends for his celebration of life May 20, 2023, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at Clever Fire House, 406 N. Elm Ave. Clever.

Memorial contributions may be made to any BluCurrent bank for the girls in care of Crystal Perryman, and there will be donations accepted during the memorial as well.
