Mary Stewart

Mary Stewart, Ozark, formerly of Galena, daughter of Glenn and Rosina (Smith) Taylor, was born on September 20, 1927 in Galena, and departed this life on January 11, 2023, at the age of 95.

Mary had lived in Ozark for the past seven years coming from Galena. She was a secretary for the Department of the USDA and a member of the Eastern Star.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Stewart and two brothers, Sammy Taylor and Dale Taylor.

Survivors include: two daughters, Lura Ann Garton and her husband, Rick of Nixa, and Mary Ann Ziebell and her husband, Robert of Ozark; four sisters, Martha King and her husband, Miton of Republic, Annabelle Halliburton of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Phyllis Knapp and her husband, Ed of Galena, and Marie Burruss and her husband, Jim of Indio, California; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane.

Private graveside services will be held under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane.
