Dennis Sherman Davidson

Dennis Sherman Davidson, the son of Wilson and Rosemary (Billie) Davidson of Galena, MO, departed this life on January 15, 2024, at the age of 74, after a long battle with lung cancer.

Dennis was raised in Galena and attended Galena High School, graduating in 1967. He enlisted in the US Air Force and served for over 8 years, including a tour in Vietnam. After his service he worked for an oil company in Alaska for many years before retiring and returning to Crane, MO, where he lived until his passing. Dennis enjoyed spending his winters on South Padre Island, Texas. He liked to fish and was a self proclaimed chef.

He is survived by three brothers, Joe (San Pedro, California); James Terry (Jo Ellen) Flippin, AR; and David Davidson (Debra), Bentonville, AR; one sister Sherryl Hair (Jim) Battlefield, MO, and many loving nieces and nephews. Casey Galloway and family of Portland were special to Dennis and part of his extended family. His other love was Las Vegas and he enjoyed trips there every year. His service will be held at Westrip Funeral Home Crane, Saturday, January 20,2024, with visitation at 11:00 and service at 12:00. Burial will be in Galena Cemetery.
