Sidney Beckham Jr

Sidney Beckham Jr. 77, Cape Fair, Missouri was born March 20, 1946 in Koscuisko, Mississippi to Van Garvus Morgan and Ella Mae McDaniel and departed this life October 29, 2023 in his home.

Sidney had been a resident of the area for the past 24 years coming from Mississippi and had attended Faith Life Church in Branson, Missouri. His first love was music, playing the guitar, singing and writing songs of which one was a song for his two daughters. Sidney enjoyed fishing, woodworking, painting, building sand rail and operating RC airplanes. He took great pride in the appearance of his yard wanting it to be perfect.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his first wife Vicky Williams Beckham.

Survivors include his wife Kathy of the home; two daughters Shellie Hatcher and husband Michael of Cape fair and Keri Strahan and husband Dale of Cassville, Missouri; a step daughter, Kandice Harper of Branson West, Missouri; three sisters, Lizzy Calcote of Tampa, Florida, Judy Simmons Dees of Ethel, Mississippi and Judy Doris Lucas of Terry, Mississippi; three grandchildren, CD, Madison and Braden; two great grandchildren, Kylie and Reese; three step grandchildren, Vivian, Karisma and Seth; two step great grandchildren, Roseleigh and Maverick other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. At the Doty Springs Baptist Church in Ethel Mississippi. Burial was in Doty Springs Cemetery, Ethel under the care of Westrip Funeral Home Crane, Missouri
